Some love stories start with a spark — but Chadalyn and Russell’s began with friendship and a driving lesson. The two first met in high school back in 2011, and not long after, Russell was the one teaching Chadalyn how to drive. It didn’t take long before they realized what they had was something special.

Through the years, their story has been filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of memories — including their shared love for going mudding (though Russell still loves to remind her about the time she almost ran him over). In 2021, their greatest adventure began when they welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world, making their bond even stronger.

In the fall — Chadalyn’s favorite season — Russell proposed at Dufferin Islands in Niagara Falls, surrounded by the beauty of mini waterfalls and autumn colors. After 14 wonderful years together, they said “I do” at Drakewood Farm on September 25, 2025, and began the next chapter of their forever love story.

Wow! All we can say is wow!

You know what they say about “the best laid plans…” but execution is everything. And execute you did - The wedding day venue and events were even better than we had imagined.  The location/venue, decor, the flowers, the cake, the food, the vibe, the atmosphere (the weather 😊) the logistics etc, etc. Everything and everyone just shined!!!

Thank you all so much for responding to Aimee and Scotts vision for the day as they wanted it to be.  Thank you, Heather, for always being so available for the semi-monthly long emails full of our planning questions and ensuring the staff was kept up to date on choices and changes. Thank you, décor and flower team, for getting the color palette spot on and the fabulous flower choices for the bouquets, tables, arch, barrels cake, etc.

We are especially appreciative knowing how busy that time of the year is and that week in particular you all were working such long hours.  The turnaround to our event on Friday October 24 from the day before was most impressive.

The food and cake were so delicious and the leftovers were greatly appreciated.

Our guests, who have undoubtably attended many beautiful weddings over the years, were so impressed with the venue: the lighting, the chandeliers, the table settings, the bouquets, the flower arrangements all over both inside and outside.  So many rave reviews.

Parents often have high expectations for their children's weddings. They want everything to be flawless, ensuring that their children have the best day. We are over the moon excited when parents leave glowing reviews about Drakewood Farm. It means the world to us it when our clients know we always strive not just to meet, but exceed expectations.

Zaira and Alan’s story began in 2012 with a little Disney magic. They first met when Zaira interviewed at the local Disney Store where Alan worked. What started as a friendship soon became something more — especially after Alan transferred to another store and they realized just how much they missed each other. It didn’t take long before they decided to take the next step, and together they’ve built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and their two wonderful boys, Ayden and Zander.

In November 2020, during a trip to Nashville celebrating five years together, Alan surprised Zaira with a proposal she’ll never forget. Though he originally planned to pop the question on the John Seigenthaler Bridge, nerves got the best of him. Later that night, under the city lights on a quiet hotel terrace, Alan asked Zaira to marry him — and of course, she said yes!

From shared Disney dreams to movie nights, family adventures, and growing together through every chapter, Zaira and Alan have built a love rooted in friendship and joy.

Kelsey and Jonathan’s story began at the most magical place on earth — Walt Disney World. The two first met while working together on the Rockin’ Roller Coaster attraction at Hollywood Studios. Though it wasn’t love at first sight, a strong friendship quickly grew. After a year apart when Jonathan transferred to Magic Kingdom, fate brought them back together when he returned as a temporary leader in Kelsey’s area. This time, Kelsey made the first move — and their fairytale officially began.

From late nights at Fantasmic! to long-distance love between Florida and Tennessee, their bond only strengthened. In 2023, Jonathan moved to Nashville to work for Bridgestone Arena, and soon after, Kelsey followed her heart and joined him in 2024 to start their new chapter together.

The proposal was nothing short of magical — Jonathan surprised Kelsey on the beach at Tybee Island, Georgia, surrounded by close friends and family watching on FaceTime. As the sun set, Jonathan asked Kelsey to be his forever, promising a lifetime of love and laughter.

On September 20, 2025, Kelsey and Jonathan celebrated their fairytale ending — and new beginning — with a beautiful wedding at Drakewood Farm.

For David and Ally, love began with a little rivalry and a lot of excitement at Double Dogs in Nashville. They were there separately, cheering on their favorite team — the Philadelphia Eagles — when a touchdown review turned into a spark that neither could ignore. What started as playful banter over football soon became a championship-level romance.

When it came time to propose, David had the perfect plan. He convinced Ally to take sailing lessons on Percy Priest Lake one October afternoon. She suspected something might be up, but when the moment came, it was pure magic — and the photos captured it all perfectly.

From game days to lake days, their story is one built on laughter, adventure, and shared passions. On September 19, 2025, David and Ally said “I do” at Drakewood Farm, beginning their greatest adventure yet — a lifetime together.

One of the most unforgettable parts of their celebration was the hot air balloon experience — a fun, unique touch that guests absolutely loved. It added such a magical, one-of-a-kind moment to their day. We’ve tagged the amazing company below so you can check them out!
